Treatment catalogue with a QR code for a beauty institute

A corporate catalogue that joins paper and mobile through its QR code, with a calm and elegant image for a beauty and wellness centre.

Corporate catalogue with a QR code

The project

A printed catalogue gains value when it links to the digital world. For MM Instituto de Belleza y Bienestar we designed a treatment catalogue with a QR code on the back cover, so whoever holds it can go from paper to the website, the booking page or social media in one gesture.

The design opts for calm: a warm grey cover with the “MM” monogram, the title “Beauty and wellness — Treatments”, sober photographs with natural elements such as a cotton branch and a reed diffuser, and a back cover with the QR and the brand's profile.

The challenge

To present many treatments clearly without losing the calm, high-quality feel that customers look for in a beauty and wellness centre.

What we did

  • Catalogue design and layout. A structure by treatment category, with elegant typography, plenty of white space and a clear hierarchy.
  • QR code on the back cover. A direct link to digital content —website, bookings or social media— from the printed catalogue itself.
  • Consistent visual identity. Monogram, colour and photographic style aligned with the centre's brand.
  • Printed and digital version. A layout designed both for printing and for sending as a PDF by email or messaging.

Why a catalogue with a QR still works

A printed catalogue conveys quality and is shown in person, especially in service businesses such as beauty. The QR solves its big limitation: on paper you cannot book, buy or update. With a well-placed QR code, the catalogue becomes the gateway to an appointment or an up-to-date website.

The QR should lead to a page designed for mobile: if it does not display well, the effect is lost. That is why the ideal is to design the catalogue and the digital destination at the same time. How we approach a project like this

  1. Content and structure

We gather treatments, descriptions and photographs and organise them by category.

  2. Cover and page design

We define style, grid and typefaces, and lay out with reviews together with you.

  3. QR and digital destination

We generate the QR and check that it leads to a page that displays well on mobile.

  4. Print files and PDF

We deliver the files ready to print and to share digitally.

What we delivered

A catalogue ready to print and to share digitally, with the QR built into the design.

Who is this type of project for?

  • Beauty centres, aesthetics, spas and clinics.
  • Service businesses that show their offer in person.
  • Companies that want to combine a printed catalogue with online content.

Frequently asked questions about catalogues with a QR code

What can the catalogue's QR code link to?

Any address: the website, a booking page, your Instagram profile or a PDF. It is advisable that it leads to a mobile-optimised page.

Can the catalogue be updated without reprinting it?

The paper cannot, but the QR can point to a page that does get updated. That way prices or news change without touching the printed piece.

Do you design catalogues in digital format?

Yes. We lay out for print and for screen (interactive PDF).

How much does a catalogue cost?

It depends on the number of pages and the layout. We give you a written quote from the form.
