Digital menus with a QR code for restaurants
Menus that open on the phone just by scanning a QR code, as a PDF, web page or ordering app.

The project
Today customers expect to see the menu on their phone. We design digital menus that are comfortable to read and easy to update, accessible by scanning a QR code, and also the versions for printing, with a polished image consistent with the restaurant.
The portfolio piece shows the concept: an elegant printed menu —with the restaurant's logo, the dish sections and prices— and, next to it, a table frame with a QR code that leads to the digital version. We offer several formats: PDF, web page or online ordering app.
The challenge
To make the digital menu as pleasant as the printed one: readable on a small screen, quick to open and easy to change when dishes or prices vary.
What we did
- Printed menu design. Elegant layout for the paper version, with logo, sections and price hierarchy.
- Digital menu accessible by QR. A version designed for mobile, opened by scanning a code placed on the table or shop window.
- Several formats to choose from. PDF to start quickly, an interactive web page or an online ordering app, depending on the venue's needs.
- QR code and table stand. Design of the code and of the frame or card that presents it, with the restaurant's image.

Digital menu with QR: PDF, web page or ordering app
The PDF is the quickest solution: it takes little time and works well if the design is simple and light. The interactive web page is more flexible: it loads fast, adapts to mobile, updates instantly and can show up in search engines. The ordering app goes a step further: it lets customers order and pay from the table or for delivery.
Choosing well depends on the type of venue, how often the menu changes and whether you want to sell online. In every case, the QR must be large, well placed and lead to a page that displays correctly on mobile. QR and stands
We generate the code and design the stand for the table or shop window.
Launch and fine-tuning
We test the menu on different phones and leave it ready to be updated.

Frequently asked questions about digital menus with QR
What is the difference between a PDF menu and a web page?
The PDF is quick and cheap, but heavy and harder to read on mobile; the web page loads instantly, adapts to any screen and is easy to update.
How is the QR code placed?
On tables, shop windows, cards or posters, always large enough and with good contrast so it scans first time.
Can I change the prices myself?
It can be designed so you manage it from a simple panel, or we can take care of the updates.
Can orders be received from the menu?
Yes, with the online ordering app version. It is defined in the quote according to the type of venue.
